How to Pick a President 101
This is the first in a three part series of articles on how to pick a President. I have been amazed at the number of Americans that I have run into that do not know the basics of how to pick a President. This series are for those folks, and those of you, like me, who keep running into people who need a quick how to pick a President tune up from the neck up. So, come share what you know and learn what you don't.
2008 is a critical and historic Presidential election year and we need all hands on deck, with sufficient political literacy to make an informed judgment that moves our country forward.
There are two forms of logic used to make a decision regarding a person's choice for President. Inductive logic is the most common one. It uses the If - Then model. The other form of logic is deductive logic; it uses the form Statement, Major premise, Minor premise. What is important to note at this point regarding election logic, is that the decision logic most voters use is subjective. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are being objective. You are voting, you and your families self interest, and that is how it should be.
Inductive Logic is pretty straight forward; here are three example of this subjective process. If you like the person then you vote for them. If you think the person has the same values as you do then you vote for them. If you think a party has the same values or that the party’s values are closest to yours then you vote for that party. This form of decision making can be highly emotional and your cultural orientation will no doubt play a large role in inductive decision making. You should also note that this is the type of decision making that is most easily influenced by Cultural Poisoning.
This is a right brain activity and all of us use this form of decision making. What is important to remember at this point, is that inductive logic is just a starting point in decision making. Deductive logic is necessary to verify that your inductive decision/reasoning is in agreement with reality.
Deductive logic has three steps instead of two. The objective of utilizing deductive logic in a political process is to determine for yourself, is the statement of a given politician is true or false. Of all the people in the world that make statements, I probably trust the statements of Politicians and Lawyers the least. However, their statements like everyone else’s can be tested. This is the form the test takes.
Political Statement - I will implement Universal Health Care
Major Premise - Voting record
Minor Premise - Associations
This is how it works. If the persons voting record and their historic associations are consistent (True) with their statement, then their political statement is most likely true. If either premise is false the statement is less likely to be true. What is important to remember here, is that a candidate’s statement is only important in so far as it directly relates to your personal interests as expressed by your Top Three Issues.
How do you employ this information as a practical matter in your decision making regarding your vote in November. At the most basic level you use the Top Three Issues model. Step one, write down your Top Three Political Issues, (Top three things you want the next president to accomplish and why. here are my Top Tree as an example.

2008 Presidential Election
1. Universal Sick Care, USC in 4 (Pro-life for grownups)
2. End the Iraq War, in 30 days (Use money at home)
3. Green Moon Shot, in 10 years (fix economy and form the future)
Key: They should include your personal self-interests and what you think is important for the Nation's best interests.
Step two; apply Inductive logic - Which candidate and party do you like?
Step Three; apply deductive logic - Which candidate’s statements as the leader of his party most closely matches your Top three?
It step 2 and 3 match up, your decision is made and your reasoning should be very clear to you and anyone you talk to. If they do not match up something is wrong and you need to figure out what, and fix it, so you can make a clear well informed logical decision regarding the Presidency of the United States of America.
Your task, should you decide to accept, is to write down your TOP THREE ISSUES as a comment executing this 123 process for yourself to see what you get.

McCain Lying Like a Rug - Video
McCain has struck one of the lowest political blows in history, An Ad that lies about children. Don't take my word for it, Let's Go to the Video Tape.
The stay the course McCain would not know change if he ran over it. He is dishonoring himself, the political campaign and the Nation like Bush did and he is not even in office. I took action in putting this video up, what action against lies will you take.
While you are watching the "real" McCain, don't take your eye off the media. Have you seen the "polls" they indicate many Americans are being tricked again by Bush/McCain. A Good friend, would not let another friend vote for this anti-humanist.

Palin Starts World War Three on ABC World News Last Night
Unless I missed something, McCain let his bad judgment choice out of Pandora's box onto World News with Charles Gibson and palin promptly started World War Three.
I could have sworn I heard Palin say, that in addition to "wining" the Bush/McCain Iraq war, the Governor's first act a President would be to attack Russia over Georgia. Palin really is scary. So now we are not just going to attack defenseless countries, we will pick fights with countries with Nuclear bombs. If this was a demonstration of Palin's battlefield skills, I think she just got us all killed.
Speaking of foreigner policy issues, If I do not know what the Bush Doctrine is that is OK. If I am a hart beat away from the Presidency it is not OK.
Palin's first out of the box interview is demonstrating that, like the picture leading this piece, the Republicans have pulled another terrible Judge Thomas hoax on the American people.
Enough already, how much more bad judgment can the country stand from Bush/McCain.
I have tried to be light about Palin and this would almost be funny if it were not so serious. There are at least seven hundred thousand folks that understand this. I hope most voters get to see Damon's comments.

Republican Convention - False Flag Operation (video)
The Political Cultural Health Index of the Republican Convention was much lower then the Democratic PCH Index. My friends and I were not fooled by the Republican "Country First, big flag hoax, designed to keep us busy while the issues disappeared.
A little slight of hand can cloud your judgment and take your mind off the real issues.
Did you see that big flag behind the speakers, it changed to smaller flags at times and many flags at other times. As an African America I grew up in the U.S. being suspicious of people and groups that hide behind the flag and crosses. The Ku Klux Klan is a group of anti-humanists that hide behind the Christian Cross and the American flag. It is interesting to note, that most Klan (Anti-Non-European American) types like David Duke are Republicans today. George Bush, and John McCain are famous for the "Republican" lapel pin of the Bush era., but both supported the South Carolina Confederate flag a symbol of fighting for American enslavement. The take home message, history demonstrates that everyone who wears an American flag does not subscribe to culturally healthy American values.
Wikipedia says, False flag operations are covert operations conducted by governments, corporations, or other organizations, which are designed to appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is, flying the flag of a country other than one's own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations, and have been used in peace-time; for example, during Italy's strategy of tension.
You remember the Vietnam War and The Gulf of Tonkin Incident, where the American destroyer Maddox was supposedly attacked twice by three North Vietnamese torpedo boats in 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin. Documents now reveal that the reality was not as stated. President Johnson knew that the American attack on the Asians was ill conceived, unsustainable and would have to be terminated. Some say that Bush and the forty thieves created a false flag operation by tying the Iraq flag to the 911 attack on the United States.
It is interesting to note that today most of the American people are against the Vietnam War and the Bush/McCain Iraq War. McCain is out of step with the American people in both cases, yet these wars and his role in them were part of the main theme of the convention. look at McCain's judgment, he wanted to stay the course in Vietnam and in Iraq, yet the stay the course guy became the "Change" Guy at the false flag convention. A picture is worth a thousand words, did you look at the crowd? 93% White males vs. 65% White Male delegates at the Democratic convention. What change, no cultural inclusion in the convention crowd or the crowds that turn up for Bush/McCain Palin on the stump, or in the voting booths.
If a party's convention is not inclusive, then there is no prof of concept regarding McCain's assertion that he will run an inclusive unifying government. In fact, the convention demonstrates the opposite Bush/McCain will divide this country more then at any time since the Civil War.

Your Cultural Literacy assignment, should you decide to accept, is to look at the crowd shots and count the number of African Americans, Asian Americans and Latino Americans you see in the crowd.
Did you notice the convention slogan "Country First Right or Wrong". I know, they left off the right or wrong, that is the false flag point. Like "Love it or leave it" the slogan was, and is, red meat code for the extreme social conservatives at home and on the convention floor.
Wikipedia also describes in general terms the strategy of tension that I assert the Republicans used at their false flag convention. This is how it works, it is a strategy used to divide, manipulate, and control public opinion using fear, propaganda, disinformation, psychological warfare and agents provocateurs. The tactic is a familiar one often used historically by cultural anti-humanist. The tactic is indispensable for Cultural Poisoning. Like in divide and conquer, the term 'tension' one refers to emotional tension, to what creates a sentiment of fear. By the term 'strategy' one refers to what feeds the fear of the people towards one particular group. This brings me to John McCain's choice for V.P., Governor Palin. No disrespect intended with this pieces cover picture but it does illustrate a point. The overt reason for picking Palin is to capture the Hillary woman's vote. The covert reason is to get the extreme right wing working class social conservative (Code for Anti-Non-Christian European American) male vote.
Palin is the emotional lightning rod to get the Social Conservative, get out the vote, storm troopers boots on the street.
John McCain took Shara Palin out of Pandora's box and sprang her on the unsuspecting American public. After her speech, McCain has put her back in the box and is hoping no more shoes drop on the box and knock it open again. Some say Palin is like Dan Quayle, that is only partly true. Remember when President Reagan needed an African American for the Supreme Court, he surprised the American people with an African American that was anti-African American. Well, McCain has found a female American who is anti-female American (anti-choice). Most things that Hillary is for on the issues, Palin is against. Palin is McCain's Judge Thomas, and like him, she will be used to divide Americans and restore cultural extremism.
Let's go back to the floor of the convention one last time. The delegates loved Palin. The PCH Index was 1.8% on the floor. That is, less then 2% of the delegates were African Americans vs. the Democrats with approximately 64% AA Delegates. The convention delegates are one big social conservative focus group. From their reaction, it would seem that he has successfully duped them and the MSM into thinking the Bush/McCain Palin stay the course torture and divide tag team is now miraculously the McCain "Change" and national unity expert on the economy team. The question is does the public, not the convention, buy this?
70% of the American people are against Bush and the Republicans on the issues. They want the war ended. They want National Sick Care and they want a Green Moon Shot to put the economy back on track and secure our future. Bush/McCain especially with Palin have made it clear they are not going to do any of these things. The Choices could not be clearer, and I believe the election results will depend on the nation's cultural health. It has been said that if the Republican brand were dog food it would be removed from the shelves. We already know what party will win the election on the issues and that makes 2008 the biggest benchmark on the Nation's Cultural Health since the 1960's. If the Republican convention was about anything, it was about the past. They hardly mentioned today's issues, the current condition of the middle class or the future. The stakes are high, Health care for all, depends on the Cultural Health of all. The question is, are we going forward or backward, what do you think, vote in the poll.

The US-Open Had Their Woman's Finals on Wednesday?
The official Woman's Finals in New York City took place oddly enough on Sunday. A Williams won, however the real finals took place on Wednesday, what were the US-Open and USTA officials thinking?
Now, I do not claim to understand the ranking and draw mathematics. I am just a simple tennis fan, but how did the two best players in the world, on the woman's side of tennis, wind up facing each other in the quarter finals. I have a friend who does not play tennis like I do, but watches tennis whenever the Williams sisters are playing. Often he is the one to call me to tell me that they are on. When he called me this time exasperated, he wanted to know why they were put in the same draw. I was at a lost. It didn't make sense to me either.
Yes, I watched the official finals and The American defeated the Serbian Jelena Jankovic 6-4, 7-5. Serena's opponent did better then expected and the match was very interesting and entertaining, but turned out as most people expected. Now, I do not claim to understand the ranking and draw mathematics. I am just a simple tennis fan, but how did the two best players in the world, on the woman's side of tennis, wind up facing each other in the quarter finals. I have a friend who does not play tennis like I do, but watches tennis whenever the Williams sisters are playing. Often he is the one to call me to tell me that they are on. When he called me this time exasperated, he wanted to know why they were put in the same draw. I was at a lost. It didn't make sense to me either.
Yes, I watched the official finals and The American defeated the Serbian Jelena Jankovic 6-4, 7-5. Serena's opponent did better then expected and the match was very interesting and entertaining, but turned out as most people expected. Most people watching also knew that the real finals already happened. Some how the powers that be need to do better then this in the future, so that we fans can see the best players in a tournament, actually play in the "finals".

Republican Convention - Police Attack Press - Call To Action
Many reporters have been attacked in St Paul by Mayor Coleman's out of control police. (Video)
Democracy Now reporters were attacked and imprisoned in violation of the first amendment. Amy Goodman the famous progressive voice of Democracy Now went to talk to the commanding officer regarding their release. She was not taken to the Commanding officer, as is her right, she was ordered arrested by officers under Sargent McKenzie's control. Lets Go To The Video Tape
This is an outrage. Amy has been released but her reporters remain in jail. Why is this story not the lead story on all media everyday until all members of the American Press are released in accordance with the first amendment. When a member of the press is prevented from doing their job of filming and reporting events in the nation, we the public are blinded and unjustly prevented from receiving the information we need to make informed judgments about events in our country. If anti-American constitution violators get away with attacking prominent members of Press by day, they will surely attack citizen Journalists at Newsvine and blogs at night.
St Paul, Minnesota is an American disgrace. The Bush/McCain Republicans unlike the Democrats, that spoke with those demonstrating and avoided the police abuse that Republicans allowed.The Republicans did nothing.I do not hear the Republicans or the Democrats calling for the release of the Press from Minnesota imprisonment, this is unacceptable. Call the party you support and let them know you want action.

I Got an IM From Obama on His VP Choice (Video)
I know that he does not actually know my name but it felt personal. The VP IM, is one more demonstration, that Obama gets technology and the future, and McCain and old school anti-humanist Republicans don't.
In case you missed the much anticipated VP announcement speech, hear it is.
Beyond his technology choice, his vice presidential choice demonstrates how he as a practical matter, connects past and present into a functional reality that can help America today.
Joe Biden is the right mix of pro family/woman's rights, experience and attack dog, to make a great running mate. He also will bring the much needed state of Pennsylvania onto the Democratic side of the ledger.
Dem's controlled the news cycle this week, attacking the Bush/McCain economic error of the Seven Houses, and causing almost all of the news media, for the first time in history, to be watching their blackberries and Iphones for the VP announcement.
Talk about the remarkable leadership that America needs going forward, WoW.
Finally, I was not happy with Joe's vote for the bank's bankruptcy bill against the American consumer. However, I am willing to give him another chance if Obama will. He has been right about the Bush/McCain War being wrong.
I sent Joe a Welcome to the ticket IM. Joe, I will be paying close attention.
