The History of the Song Amazing Grace.
As a matter of Cultural Health, we utilize every holiday to improve our Cultural Literacy. On Dr. King's Day it is only appropriate that we study Amazing Grace more closely then we may have before.
How Sweet the sound that saved a retch like me
I once was lost but now I am found
I once was blind but now I see.
Most Americans know the words but where did the music and the words come from? Look at the audience and note what it has come to mean to most Americans today.
