What are these test? Let's Go To The Video Tape

The beginning of any self education process begins with self-assessment. This is also true of Cultural Literacy. To that end the test center below is provided to aid you in your Cultural Health self-assessment process. You should think about what you believe your state of Cultural Health to be as it relates to the test you are about to take. Then compare your thoughts to the results these psychological professionals provide you with and then draw your own conclusions as to where you are and were you need to be in your cultural orientation. 

Project Implicit has some 90 different IAT tests and  Wikipedia can give you more information about the methodology of these tests. Here at Cultural Health U we will be focusing on the Ethnic ("race") related tests only. When at the project, if you have time and the moral constitution, I encourage you to look around, some of these test are most interesting and eye opening.

"Race" Test

"Race" ('Black - White' IAT). This IAT requires the ability to distinguish faces of European and African origin. It indicates that most Americans have an automatic preference for white over black.
