I as a matter of Cultural Health I stopped watching any game with a Culturally Poisoned name like Redskins, Chief, Tomahawks or any ethnic mascots years ago. In recent years I have stopped watching any sport football, baseball that supports the continuance of this type of Cultural Terrorism. My efforts and the efforts of others to address this mental health issue have not met with the kind of success we are working toward. However, now that the President of these United States and other prominent folks are weighing in we may finally see the movement to Eliminate Cultural Poisoning in Sports gain more traction.

The question is how is your Cultural Health on this matter and what are YOU going to DO about it?.

On 60 Minutes John Boehner said the President disrespected him and then started crying? WTF, there is no crying in politics. (Video)

I think the problem is this guy is a addict like Limbaugh and Beck Randi Rhodes summed it up best.

Did you see in the piece were basically he says the President disrespected me and starts uncontrollably crying, wow, this guy is a psychopath like Bush.

No wonder this guy is against health care, he grew up in a bar, a place that sells people liver failure and addiction. Imagine the moral upbring this guy got.

This guy has been in congress for more then 20 years, name one thing he has done for the American middle class. He has actually given out bribe lobby checks on the floor of the House of Representatives. This guy is a corporate crack mule for the drug - Profit over People.

The 60 minutes piece was shocking because it is a pattern of emotional instability. What happens to this guy when something bad happens. Just imagine if President Obama constantly cried and was know as a weeper. We would never hear the end of it. President, a leader of any kind, forget about it. But some Americans want wack jobs like Beck, Palin and John, the weeper, Boehner to lead them. What is up with that.

People we have some serious challenges ahead of us, we need to get a grip. And we need to get some more smart leaders like our President that have a grip.

Rev. Huckabee Blesses Obama Gun Violence at NRA ?

Evidently while speaking at the NRA, former Arkansas Governor and Republican Presidential contestant Mike Huckabee heard a loud noise and made a remark about Obama evading a gunman. (Video)

I was in another room and heard CNN reporting that McCain’s Rev. Mike Huckabee said something about pointing a gun at Presidential hopeful Barak Obama, then they went to commercial. Naturally this was startling, when CNN came back from commercial they played a clip and then had a discussion about how this was just a joke. I was not laughing.

That was Barack Obama, he just tripped off a chair, he's getting ready to speak," said the former Arkansas governor, to audience laughter. "Somebody aimed a gun at him and he dove for the floor

My first reaction was, that minister’s, especially Republican calm, deliberate, controlled professional speakers do not say anything that they do not plan or otherwise intend to say. The question is what did he say and who told him to say it. Then I remembered that not long ago another socially conservative Republican Minster called for the assassination of the Black President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez on national TV. Hmm, was this a plan, a Freudian slip or a joke?

Thinking more objectively, I quickly concluded that this friendly backslapping southern preacher could not possibly think that he could give his blessing to a group of gun toting Americans to do harm and get away with it. So, it must have been a Freudian slip like the comedian who attacked his customers with the “N” word and then explained that he is not actually a racist, something just came over him.

I hope that at its worst, this is just another in a series of examples of unconscious Cultural Poisoning that this historic race will bring out along the road to America’s healing of her birth defect. What do you think?

When ever someone brings up Obama/Rev. Wright I will bring up McCain/Rev. Huckabee. Political score Democratic Revs 1 - Republican Revs 1.

It is hard enough to determine what an individual minster thinks, let alone attach that "thinking" to a third party. P.S. Huckabee better hope that no one from the NRA ever points a gun at Obama.

Your new book Come on People is helpful. Hitting our young Sleeping Giants over the head with a 2x4 to get their attention is needed. Focusing on parents and education is a much needed piece of the cultural puzzle. Trying to move a soul from Sleeping Giant Hood to Cultural Citizen Hood is a good thing.

I understand that I have used some terms that you may not be familure with.

As you know, your work in I Spy and The Cosby Show broke the Amos and Andy paradigm and people were living and laughing with African Americans instead of at Black people. You helped literally change the way Black people saw themselves in America and the way Americans saw us.

You have more ground breaking work left in you. In fact, you are one of the few people at this point in time with access to the financial and educational resources, to again utilize the media to help guide our community to the next level.

As you achieve Cultural Soldier Hood (I am confident you will succeed in this) I challenge you to produce two movies, First and epic movie about Classical African Civilization and then a children friendly cartoon series that educates them about the Classical Africans.

It is only fitting that because you played a doctor in your first ground breaking production, that you should play the great Classical African physician Imhotep, in this ground breaker. Think about it, a movie on the scale of “Moses” about the untold story of Classical African Civilization. A movie, lets call it Imhotep for the sake of this discussion, that will gather more eyeballs then Roots, as it edifies our people and the world about the original “roots”.

Now that you have our attention, what are you going to do with it? My suggestion, supercharge our education and once again establish a new paradigm for our youth and America at large.

A Culturally Healthy African Should Have an African Name

My Name is Kunta Kente (7 Min)

As Malcolm X said, What is your name? Where did you get it from? Has someone made you say your name is Toby! After watching this clip all should understand the planed and successful Cultural Poisoning associated with a name. As most African Americans I was given a name from a non-African ethnic group. I lived most of the first half of my life with a European American name. The Nation of Islam was the first major African American organization to effectively start to correct this aspect of Cultural Poisoning known as Image Poisoning. The “X”, in Malcolm X, is widely known in this regard. Members of this group typically took on Arab names not African Names. However, this was a positive step on the road to Cultural Health insofar as they discarded their “slave” names.

Many African Americans who did not want to become Muslim and generally remained Culturally Illiterate but gaining in Cultural Health, utilized their new Black pride to invent African sounding names like Tiesia, Tiquanda and Ushika. Interestingly this remarkably unique American naming system was gifted mainly to the females of our group. The next stage was giving our children actual traditional African names like Kori and Seti that have a meaning.

As African Traditional Religions (ATR) where resurrected, full African naming systems and traditional naming rituals we restored to those who were maximizing their return to Cultural Health. I am proud to say that I have reversed Toby Syndrome as part of the cure for my own image poisoning. My African name is Nuu Maat Aunk (teacher of truth about the keys to life). Most of my friends know me as Aunk. My writing name is Rudy Aunk this is done to make pronunciation and remembering my name easy on my fellow Americans, in the same way my Asian American friends make their names easy on me, with names like Daisy Ding and John Lee that maintain their cultural integrity.

Let me close by expressing my pride in understanding that while I initially gave all my children European Names, I in my later life give, them each at least one African name in the great tradition of Classical African Civilization. I also note that most of my grandchildren have been given at least one non-European name by their parents.

If your name is Toby, you should consider a 21^st Century Cultural Health adjustment.

P.S. in case you think this is just history. Listen to the screams of someone being tasered today. The electronic whip of the anti-humanist is alive and well in jails, courts and on American Streets.

Is Bill Cosby’s New Book, Right or Wrong?

Bill Cosby and Alvin F. Poussaint’s new book is out, Come On People: On the Path from Victims to Victors. How will it impact the African American internal discussion regarding our cultural health and 21st century effectiveness?

I think it is a helpful book and point of view, that makes a positive contribution to the conversation and related action steps. However, we must keep in mind that Bill and Al’s view has important but limited value with respect to AA CulturaGraphic progress toward maximized Cultural Health.

Lets take a minute to come up to speed on CultureGraphics as it relates to melanin folks.

CultureGraphics 101 -The Soldier, Citizen, Giant Outline


3. Cultural Soldiers: Are actively promoting the resurrection and restoration of Classical African Civilization in the minds of men.
- Cultural Soldiers come from and have the positive Black attributes of Cultural Citizens.
- You will find CAC objects in their living space. They sometimes wear CAC objects
- Examples: Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Amen - Wesley Snipes and Erykah Badu

2. Cultural Citizens: Interested in promotion of self, family and their ethnic group
- They are Black and proud. They may or may not know about CAC.
- Mild levels of Cultural Poisoning can sometimes be observed.
- Examples: Dr. Martin Luther King, Dr. Bill Cosby and Oprah Winfrey

1. Sleeping Giants: Interested mostly in self-satisfaction (economic, sexual, etc.)
- They are Spiritual and mental prisoners of another ethnic group
- No African objects are likely to be found in their home or on their person
- High degree of Cultural Poisoning can be detected.
Examples: Judge Clarence Thomas, 50 cent and Michael Jackson

I grew up watching the Cosby Show and Archie Bunker, Bill, was no Archie Bunker. He was also no Malcolm X and Dr. Al, the psychological consultant for the Cosby Show, was no Dr. Clarke or Dr. Nobles. Both shows demonstrated different aspects of Cultural Poisoning Mr. Bunker modeling a rather acute case, lol.

Black TV shows from Amos and Andy to Bill Cosby, all exhibited varying degrees of Cultural Poisoning. In a historical sea of negative Black TV shows, The Cosby Show was a breath of fresh air. It became the TV model for much of what we see today as the new African American middle class. The show should also be considered the poster child for middle class African American Cultural Citizen environmental motif and behavior.


Bill and Al did a good job as Cultural Citizens given their perceivable cosmological range. It is my considered opinion that Come on People is a solid brick on the road to building a bridge from SleepingGiant Hood to CulturalCitizen Hood. However, this is not the only bridge needed to maximize Cultural Health in the African American community. What do you think?

Oprah & Snoop Dogg on Imus

"You heard everybody talk about the Imus Cultural Poisoning event (did you hear Oprah and Snoop?). Now the question is, what is your bottom line. What are you personally going to do to improve Cultural Health, starting NOW?

I saw one of the Oprah shows and the fact that the discussion on Cultural Health (although they do not call it that, yet) has started is a good thing.

Having said that, My input is to alert all participants in the Cultural Health discussion of an important reality, indispensable to the forward progress of the discussion.

Blaming White Racism on Black people, is a dog that won't hunt!

Imus and Snoop Dogg are both examples of the same Cultural Poisoning manifested in two different ethnic groups. Imus needs a good psychologist and a strong dose of Cultural Literacy. Reducing Cultural poisoning in the Hip Hop community requires fixing the ills that the poets of Hip Hop are calling to everyone's attention.

Culturally Healthy Black people have respect for their women and do not use the N-word. So, the question is how do we improve Hip Hop Cultural Health?

religious fundamentalism as a psychological disorder

Imagine that you're a psychiatrist. A new patient comes to see
you and says that he regularly talks to an invisible being who
never responds, that he reads excerpts from one ancient book and
that he believes wholeheartedly that its contents must be
accepted implicitly, if not taken literally.

The patient goes on to say that that the world is only 6,000
years old and that dinosaurs never existed. He brazenly rejects
modern science's observations and conclusions, and subscribes to
the notion that after death he will live in eternal bliss in
some alternate dimension. And throughout your meeting, he keeps
handing you his book and urging you to join him, lest you end up
after death in a far less desirable alternate dimension than him.

Is this a mentally healthy person? If you were a responsible
psychiatrist, how could you answer yes? These symptoms border on
delusional schizophrenia, which the American Psychological
Association's DSM-IV describes as involving a profound disruption
in cognition and emotion, assigning unusual significance or
meaning to normal events and holding fixed false personal beliefs.

So, should you insist on follow-up appointments along with some
strong medication? Well, quite obviously, the patient is a
religious fundamentalist. So he would most likely not be
diagnosed with a psychological problem. In fact, such a
diagnosis could land you in hot water; the patient's religious
beliefs are constitutionally protected.

Yet, perhaps it's time this changed, and that we made religious
fundamentalism a mental and cultural health issue. People should
be able to believe what they like, but only so long as their
convictions don't harm others or, arguably, themselves.
Fundamentalism, however, breeds fanaticism and often leads to
terrible violence, injustice and inequality. If society can force
drug addicts into rehabilitation because they're a danger to
themselves and the public, then we should be able to compel
religious fundamentalists to undergo treatment as well.

Cultural Poisoning is spread from adults (mostly parents) to children. Words are both a symptom of the dis-ease and the means of transmitting Cultural Poisoning. Prussian Blue is a good example of how this process works overtly. You will note that these young children have been infected and are transmitters of the dis-ease. Western psychology calls the smallest element of mental information a MEME (pronounced MEEM). in clinical terms these individuals are MEME active hosts capable of infecting others.
