Solar Power Breakthrough Optical Battery

To summarize the windows in your home could power your house and you could the sell excess electricity back to the grid.

It sounds to me like the President's Green Moon Shot is working.

Winning the Future, by out innovating, out educating, and out building the world

Think of what Optical batteries would mean not just here at home but say on the continent of Africa.

- Yes we can -

P.S. your dam right we can TeamAmerica

If we closed down the four wars we are in  Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Lybia and our 700 military bases around the world and focused the money on Optical batteries health care for our citizens, Social Security would be sound, jobs would be abundant, the national debt would be gone and we would have a surplus. Then would just have to keep the Republicans away from the surplus.

Vote for the Green Moon Shot in 2012. Let's Give our President and his Dems the juice to Win the Future for America and the world.

The French Cultural Terrorist Sarkozy Attacks Africans in Their Own Land

A little publicized African Article, French President Sarkozy swims in racism’s deep end, gives us the details. The decedents of World War Zero still walk among us.

“The tragedy of Africa is that the African has not fully entered into history.
You remember the "French" Congo. You remember the French enslavement of  Africans in Hati during World War Zero (African Holocaust 100m dead). The French used Western Cultural Anti-Humanists nation's to force the Africans to pay them money for defeating the French Army. As part of the payment the French forced the cutting down of all the trees in Hati, in an attempt to disconnect the Africans from their ancestors. The descendent's of those French Cultural Terrorists still walk among us.

You will recall just a few years back, it was Bush and the forty thieves that kidnapped  the duly elected President of Hati, Aristide, after he partitioned for French reparations, an sent him to a French controlled country in Africa.

A French corporation is going to build the plant to clean up the Asian nuclear disaster, another deception? It is interesting to note that it was the French who attacked millions of Asians in Vietnam for profit. The French who are now attacking the Africa Nation of Libya for profit (Steal oil back). And now they maybe behind letting millions of Asians get sick and die for profit in Japan.
At some point the worlds' people must wake up to the historic role of the Cultural anti-humanist in France.
This is what their President thinks about Africa. Japan, those you think are your friends may not be.

The State of the Smartphone Market 2015?

I have used and Iphone before there was an Iphone. People have underestimated the great Mr. Jobs and his gold standard before, need I say more.

I know, every techi on earth has an android and they tell their friends to get droids. That is good technical advice but poor user advice. The Gold Standard Iphone is only part of the story, the other part is the hands on user hand holding at your local apple store for the technologically unwashed.

Ever ask someone at the corner cell phone store how something works. My suggestion is, if you recommend a smart phone to your grand parents, you better recommend one with the best ease of use and support, unless you plan to move in with them, lol.

Some of the 1/2nd gen androids are an interesting start but, Dollar for Dollar, I still give my Iphone the holla, +[;-)

Google and Apple are in a heated battle for control of the world’s smartphone market, but which mobile OS will reign supreme down the road
That’s the question research and analyst firm Gartner is trying to answer. Its most recent prediction is turning some heads, though: Microsoft Windows Phone 7 will overtake Apple iOS market share by 2015. Not only that, but Gartner believes Android will control nearly 50% of the mobile smartphone market within two years.

In its most recent predictions report, Gartner claims Android will jump from 38.5% market share this year to 49.2% in 2012. That’s more than double its 22.7% market share in 2010. Needless to say, it’s a shocking conclusion.

Just as mind-boggling is the conclusion that iOS will actually peak in market share this year at 19.4%, then drop to 18.9% next year and 17.2% by 2015. Windows Phone, on the other hand, will grow from 5.6% this year to 10.8% next year and eventually reach 19.5% in 2015, according to the research firm’s estimates. BlackBerry is destined for a slow decline, dropping from 13.4% this year to 11.1% in 2015.

The 2011 State of Social Networking - InfoGraphic

If you are in tech this is a must see Infographic. If want to get information to an audience, knowing where they is the very first step. Things have changed like every year in this business however, the age of the Newsvine audience surprised me. What will surprised you?

By Rudy Aunk ---------------------------------------
It goes without saying that Facebook is the network du jour, but even though the reigning champion’s user stats keep soaring, social networking as a whole might be leveling off. Nevertheless, there are still scores of other highly competitive social sites that are waxing and waning; and different networks and apps are more popular in specific geographic areas, with certain genders or age groups and even among various social classes.
For example, Plaxo is the network with the most users over the age of 65. Facebook is more popular with women, but Digg and Reddit tend to be more popular with men. LinkedIn is the “richest” social network, but Plurk outranks it when it comes to well-educated users who have graduate degrees.

U.S. Ranks Dead Last In Overall Social Spending

This report from the OECD and The Business Insider, could not have come at a more crucial time in our national debate regarding the federal budget and the course the Republicans have chosen to take.

The conservative pundits are trying to frame this debate along the lines that the deficit and debt of the United States was created by the liberal, nanny state programs. This is an outright lie they have drummed into the heads of the American people. Unfortunately, some of the pundits are trusted sources of information for millions of people.

The United States currently ranks thirty-fourth(34th) out of the thirty-four(34) members of the OECD in regards to spending on social programs,

Human Language Arose From Africa: Study

Human language arose in southern Africa, a new study in Science magazine claims.

According to the Washington Post, researcher Quentin Atkinson of the University of Auckland in New Zealand conducted the study by breaking down 504 languages into their smallest components, called phonemes. As the Post explains, the words "rip" and "lip" are separated by one phoneme, "one corresponding to the letter 'r' and the other to the letter 'l.'"

2012 Budget Comparing the GOP, President and Progressives InfoGraphics

On Wednesday March 13th 2011 the President laid out his guidelines for reducing 4 trillion in deficit reduction. We know the Republican Budget and the Democratic budget are different that is all the media has been talking about. But what about the Progressive Budget? Video and InfoGrapchics.

The national discussion on Bush deficit reduction has started with a Republican preemptive strike. Paul Ryan's Budget from hell is intended to put Repubs on offence. Result, temporary news cycle success long term fails to fool anyone.

My Top Three Issues (going into 2012 election)
1. Jobs and continue to grow economy
2. Add Dental and/or Public Option to ACA (Affordable Care Act)
3. Win the Future (activate three part strategy+bush deficit reduction)

You will notice my top three issues do not change because of Paul's non-sense "Budget". Yours should not either, this is just more distraction - Republican smoke and mirrors. Now the Progressives have a budget we should all be talking about first. The People's Budget, then we get to the middle ground of the President's Budget and last the extremest right of the GOP Budget.

The People's Budget balances the primary budget by 2014 and generates a surplus by 2021. This is payed for by simply having Americans who get more from our country, and corporations, pay their fair share. IMHO the folks who voted for Bush putting us in the ditch should pay the full cost of getting the bus out of the ditch. They should then pay their fair share of America's Winning the Future strategy. Click Here for details.

Speaking of the middle ground and drawing a line in the sand the President did a good job of delineating both. In case you missed the Presidents 2012 budget speech see video below, For details Click Here

LET'S GO TO THE VIDEO TAPE

The President points out (my interpretation) that Bush deficit reduction has a cause and a solution. In the 90's the financial house of America had been put in order. We were on tract, with a surplus in hand, to be debt free. Bush and the forty thieve came into office with a surplus and did four things that caused the bush deficit and produced no useful result for the middle class.

1. Started Afghan War cost $1T (did not get Ben laden)
2. Started Iraq War cost $1T (did not have WMD)
3. Passed Senior Part D Drug rip off cost $1T (did not lower drug cost)
4. Gave Top million/billionaires 250,000 each cost 1$T (They saved it produced no jobs)

Every voter should know by hart that this unfunded 4 trillion dollars in spending is the Bush Republican deficit that Republicans fail to take responsibility for or even tell the truth about. The President reminds us that Bush bankrupt the nation. The banks had to be unfrozen and the economic bus pulled out of the ditch resulting in additional spending as a result of the Republican failures.

The Republican Budget is designed to take from the needy and give to the greedy. The congressional budget office (CBO) graphic shows Republicans taking 4.2 trillion from the middle class, the poor and disabled and giving 4.3 Trillion to the top 2%.  This is Ronald Reagan Reverse Robin hood all over again. How has that trickle down been working for us? The Republicans truly believe their public relation belief that, the masses are A$$es.

Here is an InfoGraphic that points out some differences in the fundamental approach to deficit reduction between Democrats and Republicans.

The budget question for voters is actually a clear cut one, based on what kind of country you want America to be. A. The United States of America (USA) or B. The United Corporations of America (UCA) . The President has laid it out but he will not determine the outcome, we will. So how do you vote in 2012? Dems; a government of the people, for the people and by the people or Repubs; a government of the corporations, for the corporations and by the corporations.

All the cards are on the table, it is up to you to join us on TeamAmerica so we can Win The Future!

Which Budget would you vote for Progressive, President's or GOP?

Japan's Nuclear Cloud Over America – How Dangerous Is It?

One thing that we have learned from history is that governments can not be trusted to give accurate and timely information about health risks. 911 rescue workers learned this the hard way. By the same token, the assurances being given by the EPA that there is nothing to worry about from the radioactive cloud from Japan, can not be trusted.

World's Oldest Man Dies at 114

Hetep and Respect Mr. Walter Breuning. congratulations on your longevity and showing us elders how it's done. I plan to beat your time by six years.

Readers when do you plan to die? I know it's an odd question for many but think about it. You plan to buy a car, get married buy a house which, is more important?

I took time and read the whole piece this time it is always amazing to hear the wisdom of the elders.

"Everybody says your mind is the most important thing about your body. Your mind and your body. You keep both busy, and by God you'll be here a long time," he said.

I surly take that to hart, I try to give my mind body and spirit a workout everyday.

If Mr. Breuning was the oldest man at 114 and the oldest woman in GA born 26 years earlier, that makes her 140, wow. Did I get the math right? Another inspiration. That means my beating Elder Breuning by six years should be a piece of cake. lol.

He took no meds, that is another good hint at staying healthy.

I would also add 8hr's sleep, night.

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden Join Forces to Support Military Family's

First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden today launched the  Join Forces campaign encouraging Americans to take ACTION in support of our military family's. (video)

This is an important project launched by the first lady's that did not get the coverage in the media that it should have. They are to busy talking about the Republican "Budget". Every American should do what we can for America's military family's.

LET'S GO TO THE VIDEO TAPE

I served in the military during the Vietnam Era and did my job without asking for thanks. However, it would have been nice to hear someone say thank you at least to my family. Click the Whitehouse web page for this initiative, to find out what you can do. If not you then who.

I sent my message to military families and asked my facebook, twitter friends and readers to do the same. When I am at the Veterans Administration I will make a point of telling a vet, currently serving soldier, VA staff person, or Doctor thank you for their service or a thank you to those who serve them. I often see family members helping an elderly Vet at the VA. I will especially look for and thank them.

Thank you first lady's for activating this thank you that was always there for our military family's and providing a way to deliver it.

Data Security

Is your Pandora app transmitting more than the latest hits? Internet security company Veracode conducted an investigation recently and found that the Pandora Android app is transmitting things like user location, gender, birthday, and postal code information to third-party ad networks.

"Your personal information is being transmitted to advertising agencies in mass quantities," Veracode wrote in a blog post. "As more and more 'free' applications attempt to monetize their offerings, we will likely see more of your personal information being shuttled out to marketing and advertising data aggregation firms."

Veracode was inspired to test out the app aft

Veracode was inspired to test out the app after Pandora revealed that it was served with a grand jury subpoena related to an investigation about the security of mobile apps. Pandora said in a regulatory filing that it was not a specific target of the investigation, but believes that similar subpoenas were issued "on an industry-wide basis" to other companies that produce smartphone apps.

As a result, Veracode decided to analyze the Android version of the Pandora app, and found libraries from five ad networks bundled into the app: AdMarvel, AdMob, comScore (SecureStudies), Google.Ads, and Medialets.

BEIJING — Asia's extraterrestrial ambitions have rocketed from nowhere in the 50 years since the first human space flight, with China shooting for the moon while India and Japan fuel up their own programmes.
Since China in 2003 became the world's third nation to put a man in space independently, after the United States and Russia, its manned space flight programme has earned worldwide attention.
In October, it launched its second lunar probe Chang'e-2 -- the next step in a bold programme to become the second country to put a man on the moon. Beijing also plans to build its own space station.

Libya: Africans Agree on Cease-fire

The question is while the African Union representing the continent has gained an agreement on the continent's road map to peace, will the West respect it.

I support the President but, I believe his involving the United States in the Libyan Civil War was a cultural risk of the highest magnitude. The red, black and green flag of the "rebels" is not the Black liberation flag that many mistakenly believed. It is the flag, with its religious symbol, of violent religious cultural terrorists. It is not in the West's interest to have these religious extremests take control of a secular African country and turn it into a theocracy.

The President has what he asked for, a no-fly zone in the air and a cease-fire on the ground. Mass murder of civilians has been averted and the Africans are now managing the diplomatic road map on the ground.

This is a Kennedy Bay of Pigs decision moment Mr. President. The Chinese have a War ship off the coast of Africa. This is a good opportunity put a hold on the French, declare objectives met and let the Africans go back to managing their affairs on their own continent.

I love my African brothers and would like to help them some more however, we have our own challenges after Bush and the forty thieves bankrupt our nation. We have our own right wing religious extremests trying to destroy our country. We have a FUTURE TO WIN back here in America, and jobs to create and miles to go before we sleep.

Libya: Gaddafi government accepts peace plan, says Zuma

South African President Jacob Zuma says the Libyan government has accepted an African Union peace plan to end the eight-week-old conflict.
Mr Zuma and three other African leaders met Libya's leader, Col Muammar Gaddafi, in Tripoli on Sunday. An AU team is now going on to the eastern rebel stronghold of Benghazi.
The African Union's road map calls for an immediate cease-fire, opening channels for humanitarian aid and talks between the rebels and the government.
"The brother leader [Col Gaddafi] delegation has accepted the roadmap as presented by us," Mr Zuma declared.
"We have to give the ceasefire a chance," he said, after several hours of talks.
The details of the plan would be set out later in a statement, Mr Zuma said.

African Thinking on Libya is Not What You Think

We see a lot of news here in the United States about what Americans think about the Libya situation. But what has been noticeably missing from the news we see is, what do Africans think about the attack on their continent by the West (Video).

The first thing we need to understand about the Libyan situation is, that while 13 western countries including NATO, the UN security council (not all of the UN) and the Arab league have generally agreed more or less to a limited Libya No Fly Zone action, The African Union (AU) is opposed to this No Fly Zone Action.

African Union (AU) The 53 States representing the continent
I did an earlier piece on the President's explanation for his actions and what African Americans were thinking about Libya and the potential cultural consequences of attacking Africa.

Here is one of the few early Western reports that even mentions the African's view, Voice of America. Keep in mind who pays for VOA and its purpose in the world. Now lets find out what Africans think from Africans.

Let's Go To The Video Tape.

After watching this, only because of Cyberspace and YouTube and the fact that information can no longer be blocked, it struck me, growing up I never remember seeing Africans meeting to discuss continental issues on American TV. Before the AU there was the OAU but it is safe to say that, as a result of enforced Cultural Illiteracy, 90% of Americans never heard of these African leadership groups.

Talk about a little known Cultural Literacy fact, flying the insurgent King's flag is to an African Libyan, is what flying the Confederate flag is to an African American.

Speaking of Cultural Literacy let us listen to a member nation of the African Union in the person of the President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. He will lay out for us a little history, his analysis of the situation and his recommendations for action steps moving forward.

Did you hear Yoweri Museveni say that the Libyan flag is green and the insurgent flag is red, black and green (not African liberation colors) but the colors of the former Western puppet King. Further he points out that Kadhafi is a secular Nationalist, a Pan African leader. You will note from the link that their is no religious symbol on the Libyan flag, but there is one on the insurgent flag.

Now I am not an expert but just from the flags there seems to be a dramatic cultural difference in Civil War. The insurgents seem to be, as I suspected, religious extremest who are not independent minded Pan Africanist. They have the old king's flag called, Westerners to invade the continent and are already beholding to the West as they try to sit on the part of the country with the oil that the West wants to regain control of.

Well one thing is for sure, this is not the type of analysis that the wolf on CNN or any corporate media is going to present for your consideration.

After hearing the Africans on the ground I am less supportive of our President's actions. Time will tell. In the meantime keep your ears open for all sides of this continuing continental cultural crisis.
