EverNote Takes 100 Million Users Back to Horse & Buggy Life

On Febuary 7, in this year 2015 of the Internet, Evernote has Broken a promise to its users by canceling HELLO. in doing so they have said good bye to some of the Remember Everything here philosophy its 100 million customers brought into. πŸ‘Ή

These are Aunk's comments in the Evernote community that I have reproduced here as an open letter to Evernote. πŸ˜‡

Remember when Microsoft "upgraded" windows and left out the START button? Here we go again. I once made a large investment in a Microsoft group. They lost all my data. I have never spent another Nickel with Microsoft. We have come to expect mediocre from Microsoft as they try to catch the perfectionists at Apple. πŸ‘Ή

But for an Apple developer to make such an error is disturbing at best. πŸ˜…

I don't believe you folks screwed up HELLO! I was a 100% EV  premium paying fan and have recommended U to countless people. Now I am an 80% concerned user. 😳

Hello was the best acquaintance capturing app in the history of mobile computing. I Hand my IPhone to a smart acquaintance they put in their particulars in hit done and my info goes to them.

PURE ELECTRONIC MAGIC

Now when I need to remember an acquaintances name (I have a photographic memory for faces but not names) I Scan the beautifully crafted minimalist HELLO interface for the face I am thinking of and his/her name and where I met them is right their.

IVE's CLASS INTERFACE BRILLIANCE

and you screwed That uP, WoW! πŸ™ŠπŸ™‰πŸ™ˆ

I was happy to find this community so that I can express myself. 😡 I have read every word of every comment here.

I hope you understand that when you unnecessarily piss off good customers 90% of them will not take the time to tell u but will tell 100 friends how you trashed their work and screwed πŸ“΅them.

The "good" news is my acquaintances are in EVN somewhere and u seemed to have taken the Legacyanyone can do it old fashioned business card scanner section out of the great HELLO and put it in EVN, leaving out the futuristic valuable parts of HELLO!

What U have done is like inventing and selling me an automobile πŸš•to replace my horse πŸ΄πŸ‘…and then taking it away from me and giving me and automated horse, WTF.

I have tried this card scanner and it seems to do that using the card option on Apple's Camera but seems to do little else. And/or only starts with a scan. I.e. You can change information only if u scan something.

It seems to only work for Business people πŸ‘”πŸ”ͺwith a Business card. That is not what was promised.

I and millions like use to drive a round in our cars and remember most of the people we met. Now we and our prodigy have been returned to the day of the horse and buggy. πŸ’€

If U really mean to move this mirical memory aid into the main app. Then tell us, your still loyal customers, this is what u are going to do, and GET BUSY! πŸ™πŸ‘€

Questions:
1. What EVN notebook is my Hello data in (yes I synced it). 🎯
2. Can I merge my "hello" notebook and this new business card notebook. Or can I place these two notebooks in a "stack".
3. How can I use the "Business card scanner " to not scan anything but just allow my acquaintance (who doesn't have a business card) to just enter his information.
4. Can you get the person who invented this automated horse ("Business card scanner") to at least put the quick face scanning hello interface on top of his EVN horse so it at least looks like the car U gave me and promised I could keep.

I will add a question here that I did not Put in the community.

5. Who is Evernote's Compitition?πŸ‘‚
