Michelle Obama and Jill Biden Join Forces to Support Military Family's

First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden today launched the  Join Forces campaign encouraging Americans to take ACTION in support of our military family's. (video)

This is an important project launched by the first lady's that did not get the coverage in the media that it should have. They are to busy talking about the Republican "Budget". Every American should do what we can for America's military family's.

LET'S GO TO THE VIDEO TAPE

I served in the military during the Vietnam Era and did my job without asking for thanks. However, it would have been nice to hear someone say thank you at least to my family. Click the Whitehouse web page for this initiative, to find out what you can do. If not you then who.

I sent my message to military families and asked my facebook, twitter friends and readers to do the same. When I am at the Veterans Administration I will make a point of telling a vet, currently serving soldier, VA staff person, or Doctor thank you for their service or a thank you to those who serve them. I often see family members helping an elderly Vet at the VA. I will especially look for and thank them.

Thank you first lady's for activating this thank you that was always there for our military family's and providing a way to deliver it.

Memorial Day - My Dad and My Culture 2010

This day is not just the first big barbecue day of the summer. It is a day to remember and honor our country's fallen and our Culture's fallen. On this day I especially remember my dad in World War II, and his fathers in World War Zero.

On this day we should remember our soldiers and the cultural lessons of war. It has been said that there are times when the evils of war are justified, but understand that war is always evil. If there is any redeeming value in war, it is that it should teach us something about our Nation, our soldiers and our selves. What we learn should make TeamAmerica more human and better global citizens.

See the important Cultural Health war lesson below:

War has a power that can bridge the peace time anti-humanism non-sense sometimes displayed at home, if we pay close attention to the realities of war. Cultural Poisoning must be weeded out if TeamAmerica is to move forward. I look forward to you doing your part.
