Cultural Traitors Cornel West & Tavis Smiley on Obama (Video)

Dr. Cornel, Socratic, West has long been tagged as a Cultural Traitor by most of the African centered scholars I know. Smiley has only relativity recently come up as a blip on RaceDar.

Dr. West's treasonous behavior centers around the Culturally Poisoned symptom of always quoting Greek philosophers and never mentioning or quoting philosophers from Classical African Civilization, Kemet (Ancient Egypt). His attacks on the President, this not being the first one, are just confirming symptoms of his cultural poisoning. He, like Dr. Skip, the truth, Gates are sort of Democratic Clarence Thomas'.

Smiley has always been under cultural suspension in my book with those circular firing squad TV specials stocked with Black people to no particular purpose then his own notoriety. I have never heard him give any indication he has ever heard the words Classical African Civilization in a sentence let alone that he is Culturally Literate. My limited knowledge of him left me with the impression that he was CultureGraphically somewhere between a Sleeping Giant and a Cultural Citizen at best.

He came on my Racedar screen when he lied on Rev. Al Sharpton. And to make matters worse, he did not call the reverend privately to clear it up but I heard him publicly call Reverend Al during his radio show, lie to the Rev. to his face and just make matters worst. Rev. Al read him the riot act and I was done with Mr. Smiley. This latest symptom of Cultural Poisoning also rises to the level of treasonous and is confirmatory for me.

By passing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and launching the Electronic Medical record project, the President has done more for Americans in general and AA's in particular, then anyone in my lifetime since King, Kennedy and Johnson.

Thinking Americans should be helping to consolidate that win and help him get single payer passed in his next term.

If there is a problem it is that we the American people including AA's have not given him the kind of landslide support and both houses of congress that he needs to move the progressive agenda on his terms. The focus should be fixing that in 2012 by infusing the President with the juice he needs, not this show boating distraction.

Now had they done a Bush Poverty Bus Tour, and this was a follow up, one might be able to give them the benefit of the doubt. But an Obama Poverty Bus Tour? For Bush and the forty thieves Republican created poverty, that they do not mention, is a joke. And it would be funny if it was not part of their treasonous behavior patterns.

Now don't get me wrong I love the brothers, but like the wicked witch of the West Dr. Rice and here come the judge Thomas, I recommend that no self respecting AA's touch these two with a ten foot poll, till they repent and wish to return to the AA community.

Amen

Cornel West & Tavis Smiley on Obama: "Many of Us Are Exploring Other Possibilities in Coming Election”

We speak with veteran journalist Tavis Smiley and Princeton University Professor Cornel West about President Barack Obama and the 2012 elections.
Obama_west_smiley
"He’s rightly associated much more with the oligarchs than with poor people," says West. Adds Smiley, "I don’t think the President would be hurt, necessarily—the country certainly would not be hurt—by a primary challenge that would refocus him on what really matters. It would refocus him on what’s happening to too many people in this country. It would refocus him on a more progressive agenda." [includes rush transcript]

Pfizer: Pays for illegally Experimenting on Black People

If Pfizer was illegally experimenting on Black people in Africa what might they be doing to black people here in America?

Remember the Tuskegee experiments on African Americans by MediPlex (Medical Industrial Complex). Our President recently had to apologize when it was uncovered that MediPlex was experimenting on and killing Latinos.

Is your doctor giving you MediPlex drugs? where do they come from? what are the bad effects (so called "side effects") do they produce. I mean I'm just saying.

Pfizer: Nigeria drug trial victims get compensation

US-based pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has made the first compensation payment to Nigerian families affected by a controversial drug trial 15 years ago.

Pfizer logo

It paid $175,000 (£108,000) each to four families in the first of a series of payments it is expected to make.

The children were part of a group of 200 given the drug during a meningitis epidemic in the northern city of Kano as part of a medical trial comparing Trovan's effectiveness with the established treatment.

For years Pfizer maintained that meningitis - not the drug - caused the deaths and disabilities.

Pfizer also agreed to sponsor health projects in Kano as well as creating a fund of $35m to compensate those affected.

Mass Insurrection in London Caused by Police Murder of Citizen

If you listen to most of the news in America about the So called London "Riots". You would think that British youth just woke up and decided to fire bomb police stations for no reason. wrong. (Video)

Amy Goodman (the best reporter in the USA) interviews an African Brit and a European Brit to get the real story.

More then 300 African Brits have died in police custody in the past 11 years. That is almost 2 dead Blacks a month and not a single police person has been arrested and tried?

This sounds a lot like America in the 60's and under George, the torturer, Bush and his forty thieves. The same type of culturally poisoned out of control police seem to be loose in London.

Over 1,000 Arrested in U.K. as Anger over Inequality, Racism Boils Over into "Insurrection"

Unrest continues to spread across England after protests erupted Saturday in London when police shot to death Mark Duggan, a 29-year-old black man. Mobs firebombed police stations and set shops on fire in London, Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Nottingham and Birmingham.

We go to London to speak with journalist Darcus Howe, a longtime critic of police brutality in black and West Indian communities across the U.K., and author and blogger Richard Seymour of the popular British site "Lenin’s Tomb." "There is a mass insurrection. And I’m not talking about rioting; I’m talking about an insurrection that comes from the depths of society, from the consciousness, collectively, of the young blacks and whites, but overwhelmingly black, as a result of the consistent stopping and searching young blacks without cause

What's Next in Wisconsin? Recall Scott Walker

I am with our fellow progressive who have shown us how to come off defense and go on offense in WI.

It took the Bush Republican criminal supreme court to keep Republicans in play in their own districts. We have had the dry run, now it is time to take Scott Walker out as we elect our President to a second term and give him a Dem house.

It is not the evil doers (Bush un-dead)who will destroy a nation but good people who sit home. We demonstrated we can turn out good people in bad Bush districts, so state wide Walker is as good as out.

Scott Walker recall expected to proceed

the fact remains that we gained ground, they lost it. Republicans held on to their majority — barely — by cashing in on their massive corporate support and the unlimited dollars which flowed from that support in the post-Citizens United era. But we changed the game and seized momentum heading into the next battles.
This David vs. Goliath fight, in which underdog progressives successfully took down two Goliaths

Progressive Victory in Wisconsin Recall Elections!

Yeah I knew that headline would get some naysayers. Here is how I look at it. The Democrats won back two seats, and came very close in two other races. This done in very tough, Republican leaning districts. I consider that a HUGE victory.

Criminal Banks Defraud Homeowners With Fake Documents (Video)

60 minutes uncovers Criminal Banks defrauding homeowners with forged documents. Big names like Bank of America mentioned in wide spread practice of foreclosure fraud. How do you get your money back?

Imagine that, most homeowners who have gone through foreclosure, and the bank says they can not find the documents, take for granted the banks are telling the truth. It is a mistake right and they will find the real documents any minute, wrong.

See the first segment of 60 minutes Foreclosed Houses

Who knew that the ownership papers were burnt up by bankster sub-prime mortgage derivatives as they blew up. Then one or two years later they miraculously find the papers that say they own the property and have a right to foreclose. What did you say, they defrauded the courts faking out the foreclosure judges and the homeowners virtually stealing the home with forged documents.

Were your "bank documents" signed by Linda Green V.P.?

You should note that the video does not mention a whole range of bottom feeders from real estate brokers to bankruptcy lawyers to home flippers that took, and are, taking advantage of home owners caught in these bank fraud scenarios that bankrupt the nation in 2008.

Nor does it mention the criminal activity at some rating firms that rated junk bonds as AAA. What would 10 trillion in junk do to the financial industry and what role did your house play?

Yes, you remember when Bush and the forty thieves bankrupt the nation. They took regulations off the banks and the banks went wild creating what is now called dirty paper causing banks to need something called "Stress Testing". Most of the paper was worthless and banks started going belly up remember the news reports. The banks found out they were all stealing from each other with bad paper and stopped lending to each other. They froze the money supply in the nation. You remember the Bush Bank bail outs in exchange for 4 pieces of paper from the banksers that said they did not have to pay back the peopl's money and could not go to jail no matter what they did.

Then we (American People) threw the Republicans out and hired a new President and his team to get the people's money back from the banksters. The banks payed back our government but what about you.

Now the question is, how do you get stolen money back from a Bank? Specifically, your bank, if they criminally robed you?

If you pay your mortgage on time, never missed a payment and your house has not been foreclosed on and you think this dose not apply to you, think again. What happens if you try to sell your house and you Can't? See this 60 minutes back story on the hidden problem behind the Bush Mortgage Mess.

How Pelosi Saved Boehner's Butt

Hetep and Respect DEBEKI, Well said. This is a most edifying back story.

"Simply put, Pelosi is a leader ..."

Anyone who helped do the impossible, pass the Affordable Care Act, is a leader at the top of all time leaders. Here she demonstrates her leadership again.

She and her Dems also demonstrated that the Republicans not only said they were anarchist but they actually voted for anarchy. Once again it was rational Dems saving our nation from Republican Depression II.

Now, What should rational citizens do with self-admitted anarchist?

"...2012 can't come fast enough"

I'm with you on that! Write your congress persons and tell them thanks

Elect NO Republican for 100 years, starting in 2012

OK. Now back to JOBs, JOBs, JOBs

How Pelosi Saved Boehner's You-Know-What

The speaker, as it turned out, did not have enough Republican votes to pass the bill—only 174—and he had made no arrangement to guarantee its success. When there were minutes left for the vote, and it became apparent that Boehner would fall far short of the 216 votes necessary for passage, Pelosi's Democrats began voting in favor of the measure. "We were not going to let it go down," she told a small group of journalists on Wednesday morning.
In past years, a House speaker and the leader of the opposition, would probably confer before such a crucial vote and figure out how to move the legislation through the chamber.

Stampede from Android, RIM to Iphone Expected

This study is interesting and parallels what I see in real life. I have two friends who are computer illiterate and both have button cell phones. They both want to buy Iphones this week.

It seems like all the young people at my local pool that I ask about what they plan to get, say Iphone.

I was at a family party recently and my little niece came up to me and asked, "do you know what I ask people when I meet them?" I said no. She said "I ask them if they have an Ipone and crazy birds" I am crazy about the Iphone.

Even if I did not see this study I know something remarkable is happening.

Survey: Nearly Half of All Android, RIM Users Plan iPhone Switch

iphone 5 mystery

Nearly half of all Android and BlackBerry users plan to switch to an iPhone, according to a small survey conducted by Piper Jaffray.

The results were based on a sample size of 216 mobile users surveyed in downtown Minneapolis, MN, but the results complemented a much larger ChangeWave survey published last week, and existing usage stats were comparable to ComScore's recent tally.

The breakdown of those surveyed included iPhone users (29 percent), BlackBerry users (28 percent), Android users (17 percent), "other" (read: Windows Phone 7 and Symbian) users (11 percent), and feature phone users (15 percent).

Among existing Android users, 47 percent said they expected their next phone to be an Android device and 42 percent planned to switch to an iPhone. Loyalty was much weaker for BlackBerry users, of whom 26 percent planned to buy another BlackBerry, 67 percent planned to get an iPhone, and three percent planned to get an Android device.

iphone user survey

Carrier-wise, AT&T and T-Mobile may lose customers once their contracts run out. AT&T, currently the most popular existing network in the survey, will lose out to Verizon, the second most-popular existing network, while both T-Mobile and Sprint will lose a few percentage points, presumably to Verizon as well. AT&T and T-Mobile may have taken a hit over its controversial proposal to merge, a plan apparently favored by tech companies and loathed by consumerists (and Sprint).

iphone user survey 2

Lastly Piper Jaffray found that the already-small population of feature phone owners is about to shrink even more. Of the 15 percent of people using feature phones, nine percent planned to get a smartphone next.

Of the 64 percent of those planning to buy an iPhone, 36 percent said they were holding out for the "iPhone 5" despite there being no firm details (or even a launch date) for the device. Based on second quarter reports, Apple pockets 66.3 percent of the world's cell phone profits despite selling only 20 percent of the world's supply of cell phones.

There's been a headrush of buzz about the next-generation iPhone, but this fall we're expecting to see the first wave of Blackberry 7 and Windows Phone 7.5 devices, aka "Mango." For more of the most highly-anticipated devices, see PC Magazine's picks of "Upcoming Gadgets Worth Waiting For."
