At The End of Black History Month You Need A Great and Mighty Walk
This video chronicles the life and times of the noted African-American historian, scholar and Pan-African activist John Henrik Clarke (1915-1998). Both a biography of Clarke himself and an overview of 5,000 years of African history, the film offers a provocative look at the past through the eyes of a leading proponent of an Afrocentric view of history. From ancient Egypt and Africas other great empires, Clarke moves through Mediterranean borrowings, the Atlantic slave trade, European colonization, the development of the Pan-African movement, and present-day African-American history.

As we leave Black History month, if you have not taken the great and mighty walk with our honorable ancestor you should put this walk in your Cultural Literacy plans. There should be no Cultural Soldiers anywhere on the planet that do not know his name and sing the praises of his work.
Aunk
Black History Month in America, too often tries to teach Black history as if it started in America. One of the most important aspects of Dr. Clarke's work is that he starts teaching the recorded history of Black People from the beginning as is natural. See a short example below.
Note the section on the great Dr. Diop and his 1974 destruction of the White Kemetian (Egyptian) myth at UNISCO (United Nations body of world scholars).
And so History must be understood in context without the Cultural Poisoning inserted in its teaching when I was going to school. I remember when I first learned that Nile Vally Civilization was more then 10,000 years old and Kemet (Egypt) was in its 24th dynasty when the first 'European" book of note was written. It is interesting to note, how failing to understand the relationship of Classical African Civilization to Classical European Civilization can throw your historical clock off and cause one's cultural compass to point in an erroneous direction.
If Black history was properly Incorporated in world history, Black History month would not be necessary. Until then, we Cultural Soldiers can be found on the battle field. I will see you next Black History Month, if we still need one.

Obama Does Not Salute the Flag - FALSE
While I am at it, let me clear up a few other false statements.
These in fact are good examples Cultural Poisoning and taking the antidote immediately.

What is in a Name - baRAck oBAma
Hetep and Respect Good Spirit, all names coming out of the African World view have meaning. So the question occurred to me, What does Obama's name mean?
In one of the Obama groups I learned that Oba means The King, interesting. I wonder what language that is in.
I have taken a look at Barack Obama's name from a Classical African Civilization, Kemet (ancient Egypt) point of view. The language is known as Metu Neter (transliterated as Hieroglyphics in English). When we look at his name for Kametic hints two remarkable kemetic elements in his name pop out. In the title I have highlighted them in CamelCaps.
In the Kemetic tradition there are two "souls". Ausarian Cosmologics includes the Ba and the Ka. The Ka is the electromagnetic duplicate of the body and the BA is what in the Christian tradition comes down to us as the Soul. Ra is the name of the sun neter (force in nature) the life force in the universe (one verse). In the Asian cosmological tradition Ra is the Chi (life forc) as in Chi Gong (QI Gong). Chi Gong is an Asian exercise system for maximizing health.
This is how I interpret Obama's name as related to my self interest. He is the leader (king), that will change the soul (BA) of America, so that it will join with the spirit of the other civilized nations in the world, to provide health care (RA) for all it citizens.
Now, I would not presume to tell anyone what message Obama's name has for them. In the Obama TeamAmerica mode it is up to you to go into your spirit and figure it out from your point of view.
We in America all stand in some relationship to Obama, we should do what we can to figure that relationship out, as a guide to how we can best be of assistance to him and the nation.

Ron Paul exposes John McCain: Crooked Talk Express
The New York Times has demonstrated that The Straight Talk Express has crooked wheels.
Actually the wheels on the bus were crooked before the NYT pointed them out. Lets go to the video tape!

Our Next Leader Should have Good Judgment
Confidence that I am going in the right direction. How good is
Obama's judgement - Lets go to the video tape-
I am impressed by Obama's judgment and even more
Impressed by his actions.
Clinton has sponsored 20 bills and Obama sponsored 820 Bills. If this
is part of the public record how come no one is taking about this
difference. Obama should use his record in the next debate.
To see my Newsvine article on Obama vs Hilary experience Click Here
Obama has ten years experience in public office, more than Hillary
Clinton (six-plus years as Senator from New York) . Barack's first
eight years spent in the Illinois senate before his two years (and
counting) of service in the U.S. Senate, should not be forgotten.

Obama's Victory Speech in Houston
After his win in the Wisconsin primary, Senator Barack Obama spoke
before a crowd of 19,000 in Houston Texas... Watch the video of his
remarks...
I am up late watching CNN and the election results. It occurs to me that the one analysis I have not heard about the election here in the United States of America is an Astrological one. So let me make history in this primary. I don't know much about astrology however, We are moving out of the age of Pisces (Astrological fish sign). We are hearing the last gasps of the Taliban Christian right ("the people of the fish"). We are now moving into the age of Aquarius, the age of change. It is remarkable that I am watching a very different American Presidential hopeful who's slogan is Change. I must admit, CHANGE is a more politically palatable slogan then the age of Aquarius. It is interesting how ancient tools can be useful in the present. ;-)
I am heading back to Obama.com to make a donation I strongly urge you to do the same. P.S. Don't for get the Cultural health Donation button on this site. Put Your Money Were Your Mind is

Zero Blacks Voted for Obama in Harlem?
Black voters are heavily represented in the 94th Election District in
Harlem’s 70th Assembly District. Yet according to the unofficial
results from the New York Democratic primary last week, not a single
vote in the district was cast for Senator Barack Obama.
I seeded an article (from NYT) on newsvine it made the front page as a top seed and is on the the front page of MSNBC, community section. Help us keep this story on Blast in the blogOsphere. Keep the light on Zero votes in Harlem.
Remember the caging of more then a million African Americans and Latino Americans in the 2000 election by Bush and the forty thieves. There are anti-humanists in both parties don't think your vote is safe just because you are a Democrat.
Some have called the American two party system - two wings on the same bird. Others say that the Republicans rob the bank and the Democrats drive the getaway car.
DON'T JUST VOTE -- CHECK THAT IT WAS COUNTED.

Bush/McCain: 100 year War Madness
McCains statement is made for the same reason we got dragged into the Bush/McCain immoral/illegal war, Cultural Illiteracy.
If Westerners were still in Vietnam the Vietnamese people would stillbe killing the Western occupiers and the Vietnamese are not religiousfanatics. Do you remember the Western Israel/Palestine war? is it over?were we just attacked on 911. Only a Culturally Illiterate mad man would plan on occupying Arab land for 100 years and not know that they would be killing the occupiers everyday of the 100 years.
Bush says 50, McCain ups him 50, do I hear 150 absolute madness.

Nujoma of Namibia on African Land
President Sam Nujoma is interviewed by a rude European about Zimbabwa and his Country Namibia. This is a good example of a Culturally Poisoned European and a Culturally Healthy African.
How is it that the richest continent in the world has the poorest populations in the world. The answer is obviously simple, European attack, invasion and occupation for the purpose of land and resource theft. While European occupation has been officially ended the results of World War Zero are still wide spread on the continent. The problems of Cultural Poisoning and European control of stolen land remains a Maat challenge for the continent.
This audio clip of Nujoma is a good indication that Cultural Health is on the rise in the mother land. The new leadership as you will heal in this clip are no longer permitting the old Western Cultural Poisoning. They effectively knock it down as soon as it is raised. The great nations of Namibia and Zimbabwa are the front lines of the battle to restore African land and resources to its indigenous people.
If you want to learn about Africa ask an African. Listen for the symptoms of Cultural Poisoning and Cultural Health. This is a very good training audio for those Cultural Soldiers who want to fine tune their racedar and/or for individuals that have been infected by Cultural Poisoning and need the antidote.

This is a Special Black History Month
Every Year We have Black History Month and Many of us are about to overdose on the Dr. Martin Luther King "I have A Dream Speech". However, many of our children have never heard the speech. Many young people that are getting ready to vote on Super Duper Tuesday have not seen the King or the Kennedy speech. So If you have a young person who needs to improve this aspect of their Cultural Literacy send them a link.
Some time during the month I will put up the Kennedy inauguration speech when I can track it down. The other thing that is important to understand about kings speech is that it was originally the Bounced Check Speech. The most important part of the speech is in the beginning. The dream part was a later add on. The end is the most emotionally charged and most remembered but the beginning has the most valuable information and King's challenge to America that we are still working on.
