Egypt: If Your Government Shuts Down the Internet, Shut Down Your Government

The uprising in Egypt has set a new benchmark for identifying when a government has come to the end of its life. Having a foreign news service like Fox "news", or Government run news is one thing, but shutting down the internet is the last gasping breath of a dying government.

That little internet trickle after January 27th is the Egyptian stock market. I suspect while the youth of modern Egypt were moving their uprising forward, the rich of the country called Mubarak and told him it  was OK they were not part of the demonstration. However, if he touched their ability to see their money they would personally come over his house and give him to the crowd.

Let's Go To The Video Tape

I hope a young Imhotep, Ramses II or JFK type leader emerges from the Chaos. In Classical African Civilization, Kemet (Ancient Egypt) there were three golden ages with periods of chaos in between. Chaos always comes before major change. This is modern Egypt's time for change.

The People of Venezuela did it, we did it here when we got rid of the Republican Bush and the forty thieves. Now it is time for the next generation to change Egypt.
This internet shut down is the kind of thing Bush/McCain and the computer illiterates would do. We have our change President and he is on youtube answering questions of the citizens he works for.
Mubarak may have stayed in office or held on some how. When he touched the internet he was finished. Let January 27th mark the arrival of a new third rail in politics. In the past, a revolution ended when the people cut off the King's head. Now the government has ended when they end internet access.

People of Egypt we stand with you, MAKE IT SO!
