It is a remarkable time in our history when AA's fought bravely for their freedom. It is good to see these American hero's found and honored in South Carolina.

The discovery and excavation of Civil War Soldiers from the all African-American 55th Massachusetts Volunteers on Folly Beach, South Carolina. This is the only time in American History, Black Civil War Soldiers have been discovered and excavated.
