Evo Morales the Bolivian People's President Visits my Home Town Talks About Obama and the world.

"Bolivian President Evo Morales joins us in the firehouse studio to discuss the election of Barack Obama, US-Bolivian relations, the global economic crisis and more. Morales is visiting the United States at a time when relations between the two countries are deteriorating. Last month, the Bush administration suspended long-term trade benefits with Bolivia over its alleged failure to cooperate in the “war on drugs.” Meanwhile, Morales has given the Drug Enforcement Administration three months to leave Bolivia. He accused DEA agents of violating Bolivian sovereignty and encouraging the drug trade."

Morales and His Supporters

You really have to see this guy, what a cultural humanist. Morales reminds me of Mandela. It is amazing how Bush and the forty thieves manage to piss people off and get himself kicked out of another country.

Obama has much work to do. Bush has attacked every continent except Australia and Iceland. It is hard to see at this point how Obama will repair the relationships and America's good name in all the places where Bush and the forty thieves have besmirched it. However, Bolivia and its indigenous president represent a good example, in my opinion, of a person our 44th President will be able to work with to hammer out a new mutually beneficial humanist relationship with the Global South.
